ABOUT THE COMMUNITY CENTRE
Originally the village school converted into the Community centre in 1993, it provides a unique facility, three separate rooms (Main Hall, Meeting Room and Tea Room) and fully equipped kitchen.
Ideally located in North Cumbria approximately1 mile off the A595 half way between Carlisle and Cockermouth and easily accessed from A596, with a good sized car park.
The centre is fully accessible, with a hearing loop in the main hall and portable loops in other rooms.
The facilities are well used by a range of groups as well local small independent businesses for meetings and private tuition. There are a range of events to which everyone is welcome, these can be seen in the Calendar and Upcoming Events.
A registered Charity the centre is run by a committee of volunteers who are focused on improving the facilities, events offered and are always interested in receiving feedback.
CAR PARKING
Outside there is a car park which can accommodate 40 cars, there is also on road parking if required.
